From The Hood To The Club
Started out pretty much like every other DJ doing parties at the age of 15, cookouts for friends and family gatherings that eventually led to making specialized mixtapes for certain people which in turn led to making mixtapes for the street. I’ve been making mixtapes since mixtapes were being made. I\'m talking bout 2 turntables and a mic going straight into the tape deck for 60 to 90 minutes nonstop (depending on the kind of cassette u used) I’m talking about scratching, back spinning, blending, transforming, all that. Before the exclusives, track listings and designer covers came into play. But times sure have changed. CDs, Mp3s, Ipods, the internet. We really are living in a digitalized world now and with that came the great opportunity for me. Since the internet has been established I have used it to make my presence known on a worldwide scale in the mixtape scene, working with and doing projects with artist as far away as Canada, Germany, Australia, U.K. and a few others. I don\'t think this would\'ve ever been possible without the creation of the net. Over the past few years I have done projects and formed great relationships with some of the biggest names in the game as well as the up and coming. I\'m also a member of the Allout Allstars DJ squad and Fleet DJ\'s. Since September 2007 I have an online radio show on the biggest online radio station in Germany.
